Some people, including rheumatologists (unfortunately), just don't seem to understand that something can be wrong if they can't see it. It can be especially frustrating and challenging when a doctor dismisses this, particularly if someone's lab work looks "normal". Would it be possible for you to see a different rheumatologist?
