How do you explain pain to a rheumatologist when its not visible?

That is such a great question, . And one that I know you aren't alone in struggling with. Some people, including rheumatologists (unfortunately), just don't seem to understand that something can be wrong if they can't see it. It can be especially frustrating and challenging when a doctor dismisses this, particularly if someone's lab work looks "normal". Would it be possible for you to see a different rheumatologist?
