Does Keto diet help?

  1. That's a great question to bring up, . Unfortunately, like most treatments, what works for one person won't necessarily work for another, so whether or not a keto diet helps is an individual experience. That being said, we have had a lot of community members who have made various dietary changes (not necessarily just keto) and have found that the dietary changes they've made helpful in reducing symptoms.

I hope that some of our community members can come here and share their experiences with dietary changes, specifically if they've tried keto. That being said, we did have a community member mention ket in their story, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/stories/psa-keto. And, one of our health leaders wrote about following a "keto-ish" diet in this article you might be interested in, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/limit-sugar.

We appreciate you reaching out and being a part of the community here. Wishing you a gentle day. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

  2. A diet full of fresh vegetables and fruit, plant based proteins and fish over meat, low in ultra processed foods. There’s something called the DASH diet that closely mirrors how I’ve been eating for ten years. I would recommend that as a starting point.
