Any one suffer with photosensitivity while on methotrexate?
I live in the northeast of England and very rare the temp hits over 17°. We have had a lovely heat weave over the bank holiday and I love the sun. Unfortunately, my face is a mess. its swollen and very sore and just read methotrexate causes photosensitivity.
I have been taking methotrexate for almost 18years. I have since complied an extensive collection of hats and L/S t-shirts. So in answer to your question, yes, I have become very sensitive to the effects of the sun. However, the benefits outweighs the drawbacks, for me anyway. Good luck.
Yes, I love the sun also but definitely have notice some serious sensitivity to it.
Talk about photosensitivity . . . I've always taken bad pictures, so the methotrexate didn't change things at all.
