Any one else test positive on ANA Test?

Has anyone else tested positive for antinuclear antibody (ANA)?
I tested positive and high for ANA. My doctor then ran a series of further antibody tests for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis and I believe Sjogren's.
I was hopeful that I would finally get some answers, but everything came back NEGATIVE. I'M SO FRUSTRATED. I really hoped I'd get some answers. The positive ANA means I have something else going on.

  1. My Drs thought I had RA also. I knew I had a skin issue going on but I did not know what it was. I went to a Rheumatologist because I started to have so much pain in my joints, I almost felt like I had the flu I hurt all over. She diagnosed me with Psoriatic Arthritis. This could be something for you to look into.

    1. Thank you. They tested me for RA and I was negative. I know you can be negative and still have it though. All I know is that I'm really getting tired of hurting constantly!!!

    2. your drs need to figure this out for you. Have they tested you for Lupus? Are you on any medication?

  2. I had a high positive titer for ANA. Then after testing for Lupus and Sjogrens and RA, they were negative.

    1. Its been a long 11 months with no relief and the Dr said my disease is progressing rapidly. He said cosentyx is one of the strongest meds on the market right now so he has hope.

      1. I have tested positive on ANA 3 times, each with different titers and pattern. Also tested negative 2 times. No conclusive answer yet.
