Newly Diagnosed: Advice for Managing Pain & Fatigue of Psoriatic Arthritis

Hi everyone, my name is Tony Hartnell. I have recently been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis after being miss diagnosed with PMR.

I took steroids in the form of Prednisone for 3 years and was then diagnosed with Lymphoma. After chemotherapy, the cancer vanished, and so did the PMR. I then developed optic neuritis and was diagnosed with MOG.

Looking for advice

About 2 months ago, my hands started to swell up and become very painful. I have pain in my shoulders and my lower back and knees, but my hands are by far the worst. My GP referred me to a rheumatologist who confirmed psoriatic arthritis.

I am not on any medication as yet as I am on Cellcept for MOG. I think they are looking for something suitable to prescribe me.

Is there anything I should know that can help with pain and fatigue? Grateful for anything anyone can advise me on. Thank you.
