Tips for managing scalp psoriasis
I’ve recently ( in the last 8 months developed scalp psoriasis and an itchy painful scalp.
I’ve trialled
Goats milk shampoo
Head and shoulder itchy scalp
Anti fungal shampoo
None of which helped long term
I inject Bimzelx every 28days
Consultant had added
Methotrexate by injection, I have yet to start this
Any suggestions on anything that has good effect,are welcome

), I'm so glad you've reached out. Scalp psoriasis can be particularly challenging, and I can see that you've already tried quite a few things for relief. Hopefully some of our community members here can also share what they've found helpful. Are you also working with a doctor and/or dermatologist about the challenges of the scalp psoriasis? Please know this community is here for you. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member) T-Gel, a coal tar shampoo, and T-Sal, a shampoo with 3% salicylic acid are both that have been used with varying degrees of success by many. You might also see if a dermatologist can prescribe you something stronger.
