Has anyone had sudden pain in ankle so bad you can't walk not long diagnosed with this in my feet

  1. I am so sorry you are dealing with this pain in your ankles! Have you been able to discuss this with your doctor? I hope others chime in with their experience but I wanted to share this article with you from our site and hope you know you are not alone. https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/ankle-swelling-leg-pain. Wishing you the relief you deserve! Warmly, Erin (team member)

  2. Yes!! Horribly and usually it’s BOTH ankles - nonstop throbbing…I wish you well!!

  3. Me also. I carry a walking stick most of the time which helps keep the weight off it. Still hurts though - even in bed.

    1. mobility aids can be such a lifeline when managing PsA, especially for those with foot and/or ankle pain! I’m so glad to hear the walking stick helps, although I wish it didn’t always hurt. Are you on any treatment for your PsA currently? — Warmly, Christine (Team Member)

  4. I have just started on cosentyx. I had been on cimzia for quite a while and it had been the best to date but was losing its effectiveness so I decided to jump and try something new. Time will tell if this was wise.

    1. I'm so glad that you've been able to find some treatments helpful, but how frustration when an treatment begins to lose effectiveness. I'm crossing my giners that the cosentyx starts to do the trick for you! Thank you for sharing. Wishing you a gentle day. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
