Humira Treatment for my Psoriatic Arthritis

I have been suffering for at least 40 years from very bad, chronic, arthritis. Till 15 years ago, I was on Etodolac pills but I was diagnosed with kidney failure due to the meds, so I stopped them. Since then I've been taking Tylenol #4 with codeine and steroid injections till today, August 21st, my 13-year anniversary of marriage, I started Humira in a pen injection.

First humira injection for psoriatic arthritis

So far, I injected an hour ago and do not feel anything. When I injected, I felt nothing. No pain from the injections. Even my wife said after about 12 seconds, "are you finished!!!" Yup, I was all done but can’t feel anything so far. I had in my imagination that the minute you inject, a real miracle happens and boom the pain is gone! But it’s only what I had in mind... I knew that it should take some time until it starts, like any other medication.

Importance of community

I will be posting in a few days once I start feeling different and hope well. Glad I found this site! I salute whoever started it as it is very important to belong to a group that has the same or different symptoms and helps each other. Really very important. We should always thank the Lord and we should all be as one family as we all suffer from the same thing but besides all of this, we should all love each other as the Lord says to love each other Amen.
