Undiagnosed/Misdiagnosed: Is it Psoriatic Arthritis or Ankylosing Spondylitis?

I am so over the pain and suffering I endure with whatever form of arthritis I am dealing with!

I was vaguely diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis by a rude rheumatologist and then told by a new rheumatologist that the problem with my hands was just OA and it would only get worse with nothing to do to help. After researching and seeing the stories here, I am 99% sure I have psoriatic arthritis.

Finally have an appointment with rheumatologist #3 later this month. I've been trying to get the appointment since March. I am an administrative assistant so typing and computer work is my livelihood but it's getting to the point where my afternoons are spent trying not to cry in my office because the pain in my hands is so severe!

I also get scalp breakouts when I have a flare in my hands or too much stress. Thanks for listening.
