Living With Both Conditions Is Unbearable

Hello everyone,

It's so very nice to be a part of this wonderful group. Kudos to those who created this group... I am new to this group. I'm 41 and I have had psoriasis since I was 21 yrs after having my first kid. At age 29, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis.

Experiences with psoriatic arthritis treatment

At this point, I am not on any medication because nothing seems to agree with me. I use a pain killer named Arcoxia 120mg every other day. It's very frustrating living with both diseases, especially when my spouse or those around me don't seem to understand me and the way I feel... hence the reason for me anxiously joining this group.

I have used methotrexate twice in the past. The first time it made me anemic and the second time I felt too ill. I've also tried Corodex (steroid) and that made me gain weight that is most difficult to shake off now. My elbows, knees, wrist, and ankles are in pain a lot. My right heel is in so much pain that it is unbearable when I walk. In my right hand, the finger has started bending. I need help as to what I should do, please.
