  1. "I'm a care taker of 2 Hospice patients, my mother and ex husband. I have help with my mom for 10 hours daily and I take the night shift. With my Ex right now I'm his full time care giver. I hope to have help with him starting next week. There are times when I feel like I'm on a deserted island in a hurracaine, I rarely get in the vortex of calm and those moments are super. My psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis are in flares and now migraines from stress. I've had respite care through hospice but it's doesn't alleviate the total desperation of loneliness. The main people I've gone to were my dad, my mom and Ex. My dad is gone, and mom and the ex are sick. I would like to have the one person I could go to cry my eyes out and be told it's ok."

    1. Hi Sharlene! Glad to see you back 😀 Thanks for sharing this update and letting the community know where you're at right now. It sounds like you are doing so much to take care of those close to you! I'm glad to hear that you may be getting some additional help starting next week. I hope that gives you a chance to give yourself some rest. Please know that you are not alone, and we hope this community can be a place where you can express yourself freely and openly with others, while receiving the support you deserve. Thanks, Sharlene!

  2. "Today has been frustrating. It's the week before I get my PsA meds and pain and exhaustion are a constant part of my daily routine. My 12 to 14 hour days are over. Now I have to take a nap in the afternoon "

    1. We're so glad that you came here to share your frustrations, Sharlene. Living with PsA and everything that comes with it is really tough. I hope this week goes quickly for you and that your meds bring you relief next week. Have you mentioned to your doctor that your meds don't seem to work all the way up until the next dose? - Catherine, Community Moderator
