May 24, 2023: Join Our First Instagram Live with Joni and Aimee!
On Wednesday, May 24th at 5 PM ET, please join us on @psoriaticarthritis_hu (https://www.instagram.com/psoriaticarthritis_hu/) and @psoriasis_hu (https://www.instagram.com/psoriasis_hu/) for our first Instagram Live during Psoriatic Arthritis Awareness Month.
Featuring 2 of our amazing patient leaders, Aimee and Joni, we will be discussing various topics related to what it is like to live with both psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis. Everyone’s experiences living with both psoriatic arthritis and psoriasis may differ, but we hope to highlight a couple of individual experiences that can begin a conversation. For community members who live with one of the conditions, but not both, we hope this raises awareness and gives a realistic glimpse into experiences living with both conditions, as living with one of the conditions increases the risk of also living with the other.
Who are our panelists?
Meet Aimee! She is a patient leader for both Psoriatic-Arthritis.com and PlaquePsoriasis.com. You’ve likely interacted with her on our communities’ Facebook or Instagram pages. She was diagnosed with psoriasis at 10 years old. While undergoing a outine examination during a drug research trial, she was also diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis at age 22. Meet Joni! She is a patient leader for PlaquePsoriasis.com. She was diagnosed with guttate psoriasis when she was 15. More recently, Joni was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis at 38. Learn more about her experiences by reading her articles here.
