Do any women have psoriatic lesions inside?

I'm worried I might have psoriasis in my woman parts. Had a pap and an ultrasound. Still waiting to hear back. Has anyone else experienced this?

  1. Hi Meme! Please keep us posted, I hope everything turns out okay. From what I have read, psoriasis almost never involves the mucous membranes. That being said, genital psoriasis is more common than you'd think, but it mostly affects your private parts and around your buttocks (not inside, generally). You can read more about that here if you're interested:

I'm not sure if it's inside you are concerned about, I was just thinking that may have been what you meant because you mentioned a pap.

We're here for you, and please reach out anytime you need us. Warm wishes,

    1. I've had psoriasis for 43 years and I've not had issues internally "down south:. I do however get some lesions in my nose.
