What a great question, ! Avoiding flares can be such a tricky, but important, part of living with PsA. Unfortunately, part of avoiding flares is determining what one's triggers are and, while some triggers are the same, others can vary person to person. Have you been able to identify any of your triggers for a PsA flare? I am linking a couple of articles to collections to some of our community members flares. This one, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/surprising-triggers, has some "surprising" triggers. And this one, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/flare-triggers, some more typical triggers.
One of our advocates also wrote a great article about PsA triggers and flares that I thought you might appreciate, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/causes-flares-triggers. She writes about the importance of tracking symptoms to help determine triggers and help manage flares. And finally, this article from another advocate has her top three tips for she uses to help manage flares, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/stress-flare-tips.
Hopefully some of our community members here can also chime in and share some of their tips and tricks for avoiding (and managing), flares. Are you also currently treating PsA (either with medications or alternative therapies)?
