Enthesis issues

I am not exaggerating right now when I say apart from my face, Every. Single. Movement. Hurts.
The pain is mainly concentrated on tendons, so heels, elbows, wrists, knees, toes, fingers and thumbs, you name it, it hurts.
A lot.
I can't help but think of the Trogs/ Wet Wet Wet song Love is all around 'I feel it in my fingers'...
Whilst I am so grateful that my face isn't causing me grief anymore ( more than 5 years of constant inside ear and nostrils psoriasis finally thankfully calmed!) this extreme chronic tendonitis seemingly everywhere is obviously very unwelcome.
I put worsening symptoms down to living in a very stressful situation for long term now (2 years and counting the days to escape from my sister!), plus the relocation is looming large.
However, scans and blood tests have shown little or no arthritis activity?
On top of my usual arthritis pain, my most painful points are tendon connection points - Achilles tendons, elbows knees, wrists, so I'm really not exaggerating when I say EVERYTHING hurts.
I am struggling so much with pain, nothing I have prescribed is helping at all.
I wondered if I might even have fibromyalgia as well and how I might get diagnosed and some proper help for that?
Can anyone advise anything at all that might help please?
I will consider anything and everything xx

  1. My heart goes out to you, , especially since this is the weekend and doctors' offices are closed. Have you ever experienced enthesitis? Here is an article that explains it in case you are unfamiliar with it: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/clinical/enthesitis-symptoms. Do you think that might be what is going on? Your rheumatologist would be the best person to evaluate you for fibromyalgia. Whatever the diagnosis, the stress probably is making everything worse. So anything you can do to relax might help. I hope this pain is short-lived and that you are feeling better soon. How much longer until you can move our? Thinking of you. - Lori (Team Member)
