Oh my heart goes out to you, . I can hear what a hard time it has been, and to still be waiting on relief. According to what I was able to find in my search online, sulfasalazine may take 1-3 months to start to take effect. While many people will notice a difference earlier than this, in some cases it can take as many as three months. (Unfortunately.) Please don't hesitate to reach out to your doctor if you are feeling that your currently treatment isn't working for you! There are so many treatment options available (here's a link to more information, https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/treatment), do not give up on finding the one that brings you the most relief. Is sulfasalazine the first treatment that you've been on to try to manage PsA symptoms? Sending you gentle hugs. -- Warmly, Christine (Team Member)
