Swelling and blisters on fingers

I started having a really bad flare in January. One thing that happened is my fingers became swollen, reddish/purplish, and formed blisters on my fingertips. They are also very tender. I will be discussing this with my doctor on the 23rd, but wondered if anyone in this community has experienced this and if it's part of PSA. Thank you all in advance.

  1. Hi @Auggie75, I am glad you reached out and I am happy you have a doctor's appointment soon. You could potentially be experiencing pustular psoriasis. I am sending you this article with further information about this, I hope it is helpful. Jill, Team Member https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/clinical/family-history-disease-outcomes

    1. Thank you so much Jill Brodie! I have never been diagnosed with Psoriasis, but with everything I'm learning lately I think I was incorrectly diagnosed with Seborrheic Dermatitis instead of Psoriasis years ago. I really appreciate you and this community ❤

      1. Yes, . . Ive had that on my hands for over a mth. now. Very painful and hard to do a lot of things I would normally be doing. Ive tried creams, Dr. prescribed topicals, of which none has worked. Im waiting on next Dr. appointment.

        1. I pray you get relief soon! Thank you for sharing this with me.

      2. , I've not heard of anyone else in any of my online groups getting these fingertip blisters. I was beginning to think it was from something else entirely. Mine can be puffy or flat, as if broken or deflated, but shiny just the same. They range in sensation from quite sensitive to totally numbing the fingertips making it impossible to feel anything. They normally last about 4 to 6 days and albacore with flares. Thanks for making me feel not so alone. Wishing you health and happiness.
