Severe neck pain in neck

I have run the gambit with all my symptoms. I wonder if all 10,000 doctors I've seen can ever agree on one thing. My most severely painful complaint is the left side of my neck. The " so- called" liter area. Sometimes it is so bad I can barely hold my head up.Plows exacerbate the problem, mattresses, doesn't matter. Has anyone else had this?

  1. Wow interesting question @CommunityMember645. I tend to have neck pain quite often on the left side of the neck. I always thought it was because of stress or sleeping wrong. I will be following your post to see if others in our great community respond. Hope you can find an answer soon. Vickie W., Team Member

    1. Thank you! It is very pronounced almost constantly. I have had very brief remission periods , but always erupt in flares worse than the one before. But , I've noticed my neck only hurts constantly if I am in a flare.

      1. @CommunityMember645 I looked up neck pain and psoriasis. Interestingly enough neck pain can be attributed to inflammation caused by psoriatic arthritis. If you haven't done so I would suggest talking to your doctor about it. Vickie W., Team Member

    2. Oh boy have I tried! My husband was transferred (briefly), for his job, and I became victim to a bivvy of rural, backwoods doctors. I have never been more elated over anything like I am about being home in Texas.

      1. @CommunityMember645 please come back and update us once you find that rheumatologist that takes your neck pain serious. Would love to know what they say. Sending hugs to you from this Louisiana girl. Vickie W., Team Member

    3. Louisiana Girl I thank you and I definitely will! Hugs to you and all PSA sufferers. I understand and deeply acknowledge your pain, and the frustration the lack of compassion generates. I will keep the forum updated!
