Psoriatic arthritis in Greece

I live in Greece and was diagnosed today with psoriatic arthritis,is there any advice out there??I'm really upset 😭

  1. Hi . A new diagnosis can be incredibly overwhelming and the treatment options can be confusing. The good news is that the appropriate medication can leave you feeling so very much better. It just might take some trial and error to find the medication that is most effective for you. Here is an article from one of our advocates for people who are new to PsA: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/dear-friend-newly-diagnosed. Here is another article about the treatment options: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/treatment. The best thing you can do now is to educate yourself about PsA so you can advocate for yourself and make informed choices. You will read about people who are in constant pain and lose their mobility due to PsA, but you will also read about people (my brother, for instance) who are in remission, thanks to treatment, and are not ruled by their PsA. Know that every journey is different and that one person's story will not necessarily be your own. We are here for you whenever you need support or a place to vent. You are never alone in this. Wishing you the very best. - Lori (Team Member)
