Humira has helped me alot. Make sure you get co pay assistance. Very expensive.
YES! Humira worked for me for 6 years before I had to switch. I had very little to no pain for half of that once my body adjusted to the medication. It took at least 6 months to work for me and then another few years to gain little to no disease activity. I had no side effects either. The shot seems scary at first, but you get used to it quickly and it is no big deal.
I echo Kerry's recommendation - Humira will give you sharps program mail back and copay assistance so it is either $5 or $0 a month. You just have to call them to set it up.
