Hello You are so right, tying shoes is the pits! I've found a few things that work and they aren't too expensive to give a try. Google "no tie laces" and you can find a bunch. Here is a link to what I've found on Amazon to give you an idea.
I avoid Velcro too. Hope you are doing well today. -Leanne, Community Moderator

Hi , have you tried slip on shoes? Lock laces might also be something to check out. Curious to hear what other community members think.

Have you ever tried elastic shoelaces, ? With elastic laces, shoes can be slipped on and off easily — and the best part? Tie them once and they stay tied forever! They effectively turn any laced shoe into a slip-on. They're available in every style imaginable nowadays. If you try them, come back and tell us how they worked out. -Eileen, Psoriatic-Arthritis.com

Thanks Eileen, Leanne, and Vicki. I am definitely going to try out all of your suggestions. I mostly have lacing shoes for walking and aerobic dance exercise for which I need athletic shoes (fortunately my feet have not been too badly affected yet and I can still exercise.) Not sure elastic will work for that, but I will google lock laces and try the Amazon site suggested. Thanks SO much for your replies. I'm new on this site and love it. It is comforting knowing that I am not crazy in that others report symptoms similar to mine so I'm not over-reacting about them. RickrackFingers
