Remicade Question

I don’t think this will help with your question. I took one infusion of Remicade, and had a bit of an allergic reaction...took extra Benadryl and after a few days it resolved. However, a few days after my infusion I was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia; I was told that Remicade was not for me as it lowered my immune system too much. (I’ve had the same problem with Humira after taking it for almost 5 years, being hospitalized twice in the space of 4 months.) I’m not trying Cosentyx & took my first injection yesterday. (2 months after having stopped my Humira, I had a PsA flare and had to take 10mg Prednisone until I could start Cosentyx.

I've ben on Remicade for over a year. Fortunately, I have not had any side affects but I still have UC problems and PSA pain. I often wonder if I'd be ok without it. 😕
