Not Even Sure: I Need Knee & Hip Replacements Soon

I had no symptoms until a little over a year ago. I’m a 45-year-old woman. I’m a behavioral therapist and I work with Autistic children. My job is very physical. I have been told through X-rays, MRIs, and bloodwork that I have psoriatic arthritis and tested positive for autoimmune disease. I had a very bad flare-up when diagnosed where I could only walk on crutches. I had prednisone shots but was told I would need knee and hip replacements soon.

Please help!? Any opinions or suggestions welcome.

Oh I understand and send gentle hugs to you. Unfortunately, 1 month before being diagnosed, I was hit by a Mack truck literally after a long day working at the Doctors office so I completely understand. It was very hard for me to quit working after 35 years. One thing that has helped me immensely throughout is I had a Spinal Cord Stimulator placed and it has helped immensely with both my hips, sacro area, Sciatica and knees and ankles. See if this might be an option for you. Mine has been placed since 2018 and has been a lifesaver. Mine has several different settings. This along with my many different medications and biologic seem to keep me halfway going. I still suffer from flares and other issues but helps tremendously. I hope this helps dear.
