Love with Psoriatic Arthritis

Living with psoriatic arthritis is not easy. It is a hard thing to deal with daily pain and no energy. Having to decide what activities you can do, and which one you have to pass on because you can't do it. Always having to make excuses as to why you can't go. People always say you look fine. They can't see the pain, the swollen joints. They don't see how hard it is to get up and down not being able to sleep. They don't see what happens if you do too much and can't move the next day.

The hardest part of life with psoriatic arthritis

The worst thing for me is not being able to spend as much time as I can with my grandkids. They don't understand why I can't run after them or get down on the floor and play or even swing them. I wish one day I could wake up and not have pain, not always be so tired, and be able to do what I want without worrying about how my body will react.
