Advice please from sacroiliitis sufferers!

Hi. I'm 45 and have had mild skin, scalp and nail psoriasis for about 5 years but over the last few months my scalp and nails have got worse and my fingernails have just stopped growing.

I've also had severe back/buttock pain for the last few weeks without injuring myself. Even with strong painkillers I struggle to sleep.

My bloods are normal and the rheumatologist thinks it's mechanical, but I'm very fit, have done triathlons, have not strained anything and am struggling to figure it out.

I'm probably going to pay for a private MRI but was curious as to how other people's sacroiliitis presented. I have no other joint swelling but fleeting pains in a few joints recently.
