How did you know when to switch your treatment plan or medication?

I have been using sulfasalize ( 3 pills a day) for about 2 years with great success, no noticeable side effects and no more pain in my knee or finger. I recently got married and, of course, experienced a lot of extra stress. My PsA pain returned in this timeframe and has not left.

Has anyone had a treatment or drug work and then stop working? Did you try increasing the dosage or is this a red-flag for needing to switch to a different drug?

My next steps are likely biologics and I'm very nervous about the increased risk for infection.

  1. , I wanted to link you up with an article that Leanne wrote about how to know whether medication is working or not:

We're not medical professionals so we can't offer medical advice (for your own safety), so do check in with your Docs to get their perspective too.
Big congratulations or your marriage 😀
