I find it rather surprising that you weren't started off on Methotrexate, or a combination of Methotrexate and Sulfasalazine. Or have you just not mentioned the former? At any rate, many of us here have had success, to one degree or another, with biologics. Be aware, however, that what works for one may not work for another. And I have learned over the past couple years that I've been on biologics to temper my expectation of their efficacy. Additionally, a biologic might work like gang busters under normal circumstances, but you can still experience a flare if you become ill. In addition to that, my only advice would be to give up alcohol and/or tobacco, if this applies, and look into eating a healthy plant rich diet low in trans fats and highly processed foods. If you're overweight, lose weight; get active, and remain active. Keeping fit and active, to the degree you are able, is the key to maintaining mobility. Most importantly, don't let your diagnosis bury you in a pit of depression. Accept it, deal with it, and live your life.
