Travel insurance
Hi,I have psoriatic Arthritis and I’m looking for advice on travel insurance.
I’m on a biologics Cosentyx once a month. I will need to obtain travel insurance and wondered whether there is any guidance available?
Are there any insurance company recommendations.
Does anyone have any indications of the cost of travel insurance a two week holiday to India.

I would love to hear what some members have done, I know that I had to have a letter from my doctor confirming my medication, etc.
For my travel insurance, I chose one that offered me the coverage I needed, specific to my needs.
I did it through my usual insurance broker, they were very helpful. When are you due to travel?
- Clair ( Team Member)Hi Clair, we are looking at travelling very soon. We always declare my PsA. However. As I’ve seen recently that 25% of travel insurance clams goes without payment. I would like to know. If you was on holiday and you had to extend your holiday due to a illness or even an accident would they pay for your biologics as I no are expensive. I get free on the NHS and would not be travelling with them as take once a month. Any body have an answers please
I hear you, and to make sure that the medication is available where you would be traveling.I look forward to hearing what answers come from our community concerning this. I would suggest when you get your travel insurance be sure to put that all into writing with them too.
