Steriod injection
Has anyone ever had a steriod injection that didnt work due to an underlying infection, this happened to me, 2 weeks ago and im still struggling, finished antibiotics but still fèel dreadful, does anyone know if the injection will work eventually? Im recently diognosed and dont see my consultant until the end of December.
really it depends on the dosage and where it was injected. Different dosages have different effects and sometimes the doctors will inject directly into the affected joint or it will be injected intramuscularly for an overall affect. If I had to guess I would say that your dosage just wasn’t strong enough for you. I hope you find some relief soon
