Should Fatigue Be Consider A Disability?

I know most people are like WHAT!!!! I know this is a topic we have talked about for years. Just from talking to people they still don't understand what we go through with fatigue. We are not just a little tired. When I was at my worst, I couldn't go to work and had my hours cut.

If you have severe fatigue this should be considered a disability? Just my thoughts. I believe we need a cure for autoimmune disease fatigue.

How do you feel about this? We would love to hear your thoughts.

  1. I think that once the cause of the fatigue has been linked to a systemic manifestation of a disease, or presents on its own as a chronic condition, yes, it is a disability. This is actually a topic that has come up in discussions on long covid recently.

    1. Hello , I agree with you, but we have to get past the notion that we are just lazy from people who think this. If I hear this one more time. It is a topic that we need to talk about a lot more. Fatigue affects people more than we all realize except the people who are going through it. Thanks for chiming in.
