Research trials

Is anyone in this forum involved in the research trials for a possible new drug for PsA called Acelyrin? My rheumatologist mentioned that I may qualify s a candidate and I’m interested in hearing from anyone already involved in the study. The drug has not yet been approved by the FDA and is currently in Phase 2b/Phase 3 trials.

Anyone else hearing about this?

  1. Acelyrin is a biopharma company, not a drug. But if you can get into any late stage clinical trials, I'd say go for it.

    1. Hi Eric - you’re right. My mistake. As you noted, the drug in question is Izokibep. It’s a compound that binds with IL-17A. I should hear if I qualify over the next couple of days. Fingers crossed…

    1. Hi . While I have not been in this clinical trial I have participated in a clinical trial for psoriasis. I agree with that if you have a chance to participate in a late stage clinical trial it is worth exploring. My treatment did wonders for me. Hopefully other community members will chime in as well.
