Palmar plantar =psoriasis

Does anyone else suffer from this and have any good treatments for the painful skin cracks?

  1. Cracked skin is so painful, . No wonder you are not doing so well today. Here is an article from our sister site, PlaquePsoriasis.com about some home remedies for cracked skin: https://plaquepsoriasis.com/living/home-remedies. Here is a forum post that might have some good information as well: https://plaquepsoriasis.com/forums/cold-weather-remedies. It hope this helps and that you get some relief. 1. Hi, I'm Janet. I was diagnosed with palmoplantar psoriasis and PsA about 6 months ago. The symptom that eventually sent me to my derm instead of GP, was the incredibly painful peeling and cracking of my hands and feet. Punch biopsy confirmed diagnosis. I have tried so many Things for my hands in particular. Honestly, good old vaseline has been as good as anything for me. Good luck to you Maria!

      1. Thanks for the tips. I use Bag Balm as well as Vaseline but right now my feet are really bad. Trying some athletes foot cream to see if there is an underlying fungal infection

        1. I really hope that helps, . Gentle hugs! - Lori (Team Member)

      2. I've had success with using Urea and then wrapping my hands at night. It's annoying, but I find that the cracks heal for the most part. For my feet, I will use gel socks all night and what a difference!

        1. Hi @leondes thanks for responding. Where do you get the Urea at? Is it doctor prescribed. I have never heard of it. Vickie W., Team Member
