Number one

Hello. My name is Christine. I'm 24 years old and I got diagnosed with PsA three years ago. The first two years were difficult but rest helped. Over the past six months, everything's gone downhill. I wake up in pain. I work full time but most days, by the time I get home, I struggle to get in the house. Stairs are my nightmare. I can't do the little things like open doors, household chores take me all day. Water bottles are the worst. Driving is painful. I don't know where to turn or what to do or how to live with this. It has me down, like I've never been before..

  1. Hi Christine! I'm so glad that you found this community. I'm very sorry to hear that you're struggling with your PsA at the moment, and I know that working full time probably doesn't allow getting in all the rest your body needs. It gets overwhelming very quickly. I'm wondering if you've been working with a Rheumatologist and if you're on any treatments for your PsA? You certainly deserve some relief. Please know that we're sending big hugs your way, and that we're here to support you. You are not alone with these feelings and frustrations <3

    1. Christine, you are so young to be dealing with this! Your frustration is certainly understandable. I’m so sorry that your pain isn’t being controlled. I too was wondering what your treatment plan is?

      Sending hugs your way....
