Hives??? Bumps?? Lumps?? Help!!

My mother and all 3 of my siblings have Psoriasis ranging from mild to extreme. I get small patches on my bicep area during stress. I’ve had the random knuckle swelling in my fingers and toes since I was a kid. A couple years ago till now I’ve had these weird little lesion things that have came up on the palms of my hands and soles of my feet. First it itches deep and like crazy, then these little red spots start happening, of various sizes from bb size to dime size. And then these little tiny bumps worked there way up through my skin, itching like crazy, then they go away leaving this little skin bump the size of a grain of sand is n the surface of my skin. This has happened four or five times badly with many little flares in between, one bump here and there. I also get these little masses of swollen tissue around the ligamnt/bone attachment sites of my feet, sometimes on the bottom, sometimes the toes, sometimes the heel. They are painful and makes it painful to walk.
Finally, I’m getting stiffer and stiffer over the last few years, my ligaments feel stiff and I constantly need to stretch to relieve the pain. It causes my muscles, especially one on the side of my spine up in the neck, To ball up tight and they don’t relax until I’ve slept. After work I can hardly move. Does this sound like PsA symptoms to anyone??

  1. Hi you definitely sound like you have had many challenges with your psoriasis. With having psoriasis 1 out of every 3 people develop psoriatic arthritis. However, we cannot say you do or do not have psoriatic arthritis. If you are not seeing a rheumatologist please have your doctor refer you to one so they may confirm or deny the PsA.
