Frustrated on medication costs

I finally have a rheumatologist that agrees and really wants to help!
She fought for mri's of my knees, this helped to prove my PSA . I'm 50 and have had a PSA diagnosis since 2007 ,but have seen atleast 9 different rheumatologist,All basically wasted my time.
In 2000 my nightmare of flares really terribly hit me like a brick wall. I went Dr to Dr . Took me 7 years to get proper diagnosis. And then dealing with nightmare of rheumatologist's that were too scared to help me ,due to a pre-existing heart problem. Soin that time the PSA destroyed my hips and before 40 both were totally replaced.
I live in so much pain!! And I finally have a Dr that has prescribed me an actual PSA medication!!! And my insurance approved it in less then 2 hours. But the joke is on me 😞 . My co-pay is $1,000 a month. My Drs office is part of NYU Langone in NYC . So the financial department called me almost immediately and told me what was happening. They are gonna try and fight for me. I'm so glad they are and they have contacted the company to try and get it for me also.
I appreciate this so much!

I feel kicked in the gutt , finally a medication that may work and I can't afford it. 😞
I know God will provide, but just hate getting kicked in the gutt.
