Dealing with Cancer and PsA

I was doing great with my psoriatic arthritis.I was diagnosed with renal cell carcinoma and urethral cell carcinoma, had my right kidney removed and we are treating the left kidney/tumor with Opdivo. Opdivo simulates the immune system to help fight the cancer.
Needless to say my psa is going crazy
Is anyone in a similar situation, if so how are you dealing with it?

  1. Hi . I do not have experience with Opdivo and PsA, but I hope you get some input from the community. Have you talked with your rheumatologist about it? I am sure it isn't easy to get all your specialists on the same page. I hope your cancer treatment is successful and that you are able to get your PsA back under control. 1. I have been diàgnosed with bladder cancer, so they took my off Simponi and put me on Taltz which is not doing a damn thing.
It's the difference between TNF and Il17, etc.
TNFs work for me, but can't have it with cancer. ASO FISHUSTED! I have tried eight different biologics, and unless it's a TNF, it doesn't work. Crap shoot

      1. That's the trouble with a cancer and PsA, what works for one can't be taken because of the other. We need an oncologist to answer these questions
