  1. Hey , it's nice to see your username pop up here again, although I am sorry to read that you're suffering so much at the moment.

Unfortunately, infections are a known trigger for psoriatic arthritis (they are a HUGE issue for me). We have also heard from some community members whose PsA flared following their COVID vaccinations. I didn't personally have any issues with the vaccines (in fact, my psoriasis actually cleared up for a bit after each dose) but I always have trouble with infections. We're all different though. Quite a few of us shared our experiences with the COVID vaccines in the following forum discussion: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/forums/are-you-getting-the-vaccine I hope this is of some help. When did you last have COVID?

I saw from your other comment that you have a rheumatology appointment coming up soon - I really hope they'll be able to help you get some relief. Please keep us updated on how you're doing and how the appointment goes if you can. Wishing you the very best! -Catherine, Community Moderator

    1. I had a major flare following my first Covid vaccine, and minor flares after the first two boosters. Since then, however, I've only ever experienced a couple days of feeling run down following the Covid vaccine. And, I've had the latest one this fall, which had no major effect on my PsA.

      1. 3 weeks ago but was in pain before that

        1. , thank you for sharing and I'm sorry to hear that. Sometimes there is a relationship between these things and other times it can be a coincidence. I'd be really curious to hear if the rheumatologist has any thoughts on this. Is there anything that's helping you cope with the pain and fatigue whilst you wait for your appointment?
