Long road to surviving

Living with aches and pains started early in my 20's when science barely understood arthritis. Therefore I lived until my 40's undiagnosed. Never understanding the sudden plaques on my hands and back until official diagnosis only in 2013.

After several years of rheumatologist treatment failures, I am now in my 50's, living in a breaking down state where my joints and connective tissues have gone too far. Unfortunately, it has taken my father's family and I fear to be the next. 2 of 3 of my children have symptoms already.
