Psoriasis after AstraZeneca Injection

Hello, I was 70 when I received my 1st AstraZeneca injection. Within 2 weeks, I started getting these painful sores, mostly on my legs and arms. I had to see a specialist for a cortisone injection regarding pain from a 10-year-old hip replacement. The doctor noticed a few red sores on my legs. I said after my cortisone shot, which was an AstraZeneca injection. Both my legs and arms were covered in red blotches and were itchy. 3 years later, I still have these red crusty patches of skin, mostly on my legs and arms.

How psoriasis impacts my life

It is ruining my life as they are itchy and painful. I have to wear long shirts and pants. When I go out as they are noticeable. I worry I could get an infection. My doctor has given me very expensive creams at a price of over 240.00. I saw a skin specialist. He said it was likely from AstraZeneca injection. My family doctor gave me prednisone and I was allergic to these pills. I broke out in a sweat for 1 month and had to wean myself off this drug.

My cousin who is a doctor said she was allergic to AstraZeneca... It has ruined my quality of life. As a senior, I've had pain, itchiness, people staring at me, and the pain of the sores. I feel we should be accessed for this uncomfortable issue after 3 years. I feel sorry for all who have had to suffer from these sores. It's not a good situation to be in.
