PsA and Fibromyalgia

My first psoriasis spot appeared on my knee when I was pregnant with my first child at 22 years old. I continued to get more patches through the years. At 35, I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. I believe I had fibromyalgia my entire life because I remember the same symptoms as a child. The PsA and psoriasis I believe were brought on by stress.

I'm 68 now and I use Simponi Aria to control the flare-ups of PsA. It only helps to a point as I still have issues with my toes and fingers. But at least the psoriasis is under control. I'm grateful I found a good rheumatologist that helps me cope.
