HOW MY JOURNEY BEGAN

One day, my eyes became swollen, running and painful. It took 5 years for my diagnosis, after multiple doctor visits and being told there was nothing wrong with me. The day I was diagnosed, psoriasis began on my hands. I suffered with my eyes and face for 5 years – it was painful, disgusting and ugly. I have been on many biologics – everything is a trial and error.

Loved ones don't understand how psoriatic arthritis impacts life

My family does not understand how this impacts my daily life. Constant pain and fatigue – BUT I am eating good and exercising to keep myself upright and moving. I have a couple of good friends that understand. I am now losing the use of my hands and that is frightening to me. I drop things, can't pick things up, it is frustrating.
