New on Humira
I'm new to this site, and glad I found you. Most of you have such wonderful stories to share and I'm hoping to be able to report positive results too.
Newly diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis
I got diagnosed with PsA last September (2019), after suffering symptoms for about 1 year.
My treatment plan
I've been on MTX, Prednisolone, Plaquenil, and Sulfasalazine for about 6 months, and symptoms worsening. So my rheumatologist started me on Humira. She also wants me to continue taking all the other meds, and taper off the Prednisolone once the Humira starts working.
Humira side effects
I just took my second dose yesterday. I noticed after both doses that my wrist and finger pain seemed worse.
Has anyone else had this happen? Does it settle down eventually?
