PsA: A Pain In My Hip!!

I was diagnosed with PsA in 2011 and literally went through the wringer to find a treatment that helps. I was prescribed Humira after a particularly bad flare of both my hips in 2014, ended up in a state where I was unable to walk for quite a few months.

Painful flare

I am 28 years old now and find that even though I have the most supportive family network possible. My friends don't seem to get it. For this past 2 weeks, I have been experiencing a similar flare to that of 2014 which, to be honest, is literally terrifying me.

I am so scared that I won't be able to walk and end up back in the same boat as last time but this time without the paddle that helped me get better last time.

Feeling alone with PsA

I have had a friend recently say that they didn't mean this the way it sounds but it's not like I have to walk anywhere at the minute, I really don't think they understand.

Please tell me - am I alone here or have others had similar situations?
