My 11 Year Story with Psoriatic Arthritis
I was 58 in 1958. I contracted Lyme Disease and I believe anaplasmosis.
Treatment for my symptoms
After going through several disbelieving doctors, I found an infectious disease doc who treated me. I took antibiotics for 9 months. Needless to say, I was finally much better. I still suffered from some things as lower back pain, hand pain, and swelling fingers. I attributed this to my vocation of hard physical work.
Psoriatic arthritis diagnosis
Fast forward to 2019. The pain was increasing even though my work was greatly decreased. I was tested by my new doctor and was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis. I have now been treated for five months with no pain relief. I have an appointment soon and hope we will discover what meds work for me?
