Diagnosed with Degenerative Osteoarthritis

The rheumatologist suspected autoimmune because it runs in my family but all tests came back negative and he said I have degenerative osteoarthritis.

Arthritis and pain

My story is that I’m in constant pain. The images I’ve had confirm severe degenerative disk disease, knee arthritis, hand arthritis with complete loss of the joints at the base of the thumb. I have diarrhea every day attributed to my cholecystectomy a few years ago and I recently got a red patch on my arm that looks suspicious.

I know I sound like a hypochondriac but my hips and knees and ankles hurt so bad that I can’t do a thing.

I’m going in for a disk fusion tomorrow and I’m so nervous that it’s going to make things worse.
