Health Info & the Internet: Where Do You Fit In?

The internet and social media are amazing resources for people seeking health information, especially for people living with chronic conditions.

While many people appreciate having quick access to a great deal of medical information online, the internet also provides people with a place to connect with others who understand what life is like with a certain health condition.

To help better understand what people really want from health-related interactions online, Health Union conducted a survey of people with serious chronic conditions and their caregivers.

We surveyed more than 2,200 people with serious health conditions (like migraine, psoriatic arthritis, psoriasis, and more) who were active users of social media for health information.

People were asked about their experience with various online forms of health information. Take a look at what our community members shared with us, and see how your internet habits compare to others!
