Zero to 60 on knee degeneration…now knee replacement?!

So have been diagnosed, finally, in 2017. Mostly just S/I pain and generalized pain and fatigue, minor psoriasis. Up and down on various meds and biologics, but recent decline in 4th biologic. Big time flare with toes, hands, back, and psoriasis lead to couple rounds of steroids, and new biologic. But new symptoms has been my one knee, very swollen, warm, and stiff(due to fluid per orthopedic doc)…and he’s talking knee replacement…huh?! That means stopping biologic I’m just getting started on, you all know the drill. Guess I’m going for cortisone shot to hold off surgery.

  1. Hi @geekgal52. Sounds like you have been through a lot to get to this new biologic. It is always scary starting a new biologic but to have to stop it for surgery would be a decision I would not want to face either. Please keep us updated if you want to. Vickie W., Team Member
