What are some tips to save as much money for treatment options?

I was recently diagnosed with PsA 2 weeks ago and I am starting medication soon. I still have another appointment to figure out which medicine would work best but every single one is way too expensive, even with insurance. I am still on my parents insurance as I am only 22 and have 2 part time jobs with no health insurance and I am lost on what to do. Are the programs that the medicines have actually worth my while or is there something else that I should look into to see if I can save money for these medications? TIA!

  1. Most, if not all, of the manufacturers of these medications have some sort of patient assistance, whether on insurance or not. The degree of assistance will vary depending on income, coverage, etc.
