Flu Shot And Psoriatic Arthritis

I just turned 65 this year. I have had psoriatic disease for 60 years. On my last doctor's visit for a checkup, she asked if I had my flu shot yet. I know her, no, but she said to get it soon.

I had never heard this before but she said I was more prone to having a stroke and heart attack. She told me to get the shot as soon as possible and stay away from anyone who has it.

Has anyone heard of this before?
