Anyone on Cosentyx now or ever?

I was prescribed Cosentyx by infusion, but my insurance denied it, so now I’m getting the injection, but I have tremendous shot anxiety!

I've tried Humera and Taltz, but they didn't help me.

I'm wondering (worrying) if the shot is better? Smaller? Less painful?😬 And did it help you?

I'm sick of changing medications every year!

  1. I am sure that you will get some feedback from our community soon as many of them use a variety of medications in various forms. The journey to finding the right medication can be quite frustrating. How When are you due to start the Costenyx?

    1. Hi , thank you for reaching out to the community here. I hope you'll get some replies soon but in the meantime you might be interested to browse the forum posts that mention Cosentyx: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/forums?term=cosentyx&page=1

One thing I have heard many people say is that Taltz is particularly painful, so I would hope that Cosentyx would at least be less painful than that (although I don't have personal experience with this). I can completely understand being anxious about the shots. Do you have someone who could help you with them? We do have the following article from Elizabeth that has some helpful tips for doing injections: https://psoriatic-arthritis.com/living/giving-yourself-injections-tips You may have tried a lot of those already but I wanted to share just in case it's useful.
